From booking to books in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi property is overseen by the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC), and leased units are registered through Tawtheeq, so RealMake keeps the relevant reference against the unit once an investor leases it out. Developer invoices carry UAE VAT at the rate your advisor confirms for each unit type, with 5% as the standard rate, and corporate tax is 9%. Under the UAE e-invoicing plan, businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more go live on 1 January 2027; the rest appoint an accredited provider by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027.
