Buildings and communities in Al Wakrah
Qatar's property sector falls under Aqarat, and tenancy contracts are registered with the Ministry of Municipality. Non-Qatari ownership is limited to designated areas, so most Al Wakrah buildings belong to Qatari families, local investors or companies and are let to residents. The landlord or its operator usually pays for upkeep and then recovers some shared costs. RealMake records those costs per building and per unit. Qatar has no VAT yet, so bills go out without it, and RealMake can switch VAT on if Qatar introduces it.
