  • Same sales and collection method across projects

Why Real Estate CRM & ERP in Doha keeps one buyer file

Doha sales teams deal with buyers from many countries, and non-Qatari ownership is allowed only in designated areas such as West Bay and The Pearl. That makes the buyer file important: nationality, the unit's area and the documents collected all need to sit next to the payment record. RealMake keeps them together. A reservation for a Pearl apartment carries the buyer's details, the payment plan and each receipt, and finance can post and reconcile from the same file. Projects in Msheireb or along Salwa Road follow the same pattern, so the company has one way of selling and one way of collecting across every project.

Sales and finance read the same Doha numbers

In many Doha companies the sales director reports bookings while the finance manager reports receipts, and the two never quite agree. RealMake removes that gap because both reports read the same records. Finance can include likely bookings from the sales pipeline when forecasting cash, and sales can see which signed buyers still owe money before promising a handover date.

  • Booking and receipt reports from one source
  • Pipeline included in finance forecasts
  • Outstanding amounts checked before handover
  • Fewer disputes between departments

From booking to books in Doha

The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) regulates brokers in Qatar, so RealMake records broker details against each commission. Non-Qatari ownership is allowed only in designated areas, a list of ten updated in June 2026 that includes West Bay, The Pearl and Lusail. Qatar has no VAT in force yet, and RealMake is ready to switch VAT on when it is introduced. An e-invoicing law has been approved without dates, so invoice data is kept structured for when the rules arrive. Transactions run in Qatari riyal.

Designated-area status kept on every unit
VAT ready to switch on once Qatar introduces it

Frequently Asked Questions

Can RealMake flag whether a Doha unit is in a designated area?

Yes. Each unit carries a designated-area field, so sales can check eligibility for non-Qatari buyers before a reservation is confirmed.

Will our Doha invoices show VAT if we go live now?

No. Qatar has not introduced VAT yet. The system is ready to switch VAT on when Qatar introduces it, without rebuilding plans or invoices.

How are Aqarat-regulated brokers handled?

Broker records hold their details and agreement terms. Commission is calculated per booking and becomes payable only when your conditions are met.

Can finance see expected bookings, not just receipts?

Yes. Finance can view open reservations by likelihood and expected date, then include them in the cash forecast alongside scheduled installments.

Our buyers pay by cheque and bank transfer. Is that supported?

Both are supported. Cheques are tracked by date and status, transfers are matched to installments, and both post to the ledger in Qatari riyal.

Does Symake have staff in Doha?

No. Symake is based in Bengaluru, India. Consultants travel to Doha for workshops, training and go-live, and support is remote during the Qatar working week.

What about the new Qatar e-invoicing law?

An e-invoicing law has been approved but no dates are set. RealMake keeps invoice data structured so the connection can be added once requirements are published.

Can we move buyers from our current spreadsheets?

Yes. We import buyers, units, plans and receipts, and agree balances with your finance team before the old files are retired.
