Retail ERP Software in UAE for groups in several emirates

Many UAE retail groups started in one emirate and now trade in several: stores in Dubai and Sharjah, branches in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and newer openings in Ajman or Ras Al Khaimah. Each may sit under a different legal entity, including free-zone companies. Symake's retail ERP keeps every entity in its own ledger with its own VAT records, while suppliers, items and price books are shared across the group. Directors see results by emirate, entity or branch, without asking each finance team for a file. The same structure will carry the group into e-invoicing when its date arrives.

Opening in another emirate often means another legal entity. Without planning, that becomes another accounting file and another month-end. Symake adds the new entity inside the same back office. Suppliers and items are already there, prices follow group rules, and VAT is recorded under the right registration. Directors see the new branches beside the old ones from the first trading day.

  • New entity added without a new system
  • VAT recorded under the right registration
  • Group price rules applied automatically
  • Branches visible to directors from day one

A retail back office for the UAE

Every emirate follows the same federal tax rules: VAT at 5% and corporate tax at 9%. E-invoicing is run by the Ministry of Finance. A group with revenue of AED 50 million or more must be live on 1 January 2027, sending invoices through an accredited service provider. The rest appoint by 31 March 2027 and start on 1 July 2027. Different entities in one group may fall into different phases. Symake records which date applies to each one and keeps invoice data structured for your provider, from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can one system cover entities in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi?

Yes. Each entity keeps its own ledger, VAT registration and bank accounts. Suppliers, items and price books are shared, and directors can view the whole group or any single entity.

Do free-zone companies need a separate system?

No. A free-zone company is set up as its own entity in the same back office, with its own books. Transfers to mainland entities are recorded on both sides.

Which e-invoicing date applies to our UAE group?

It depends on each entity's revenue. Those with AED 50 million or more go live on 1 January 2027, others on 1 July 2027. Symake helps you list which entities fall into which phase.

Does the back office support corporate tax?

It keeps entity-level profit, expenses and adjustments clear and auditable, which supports corporate tax filing at 9%. Your tax adviser still prepares and submits the return.

Will consultants travel to each emirate?

Consultants fly in from Bengaluru for workshops and go-live in the emirates where you have the most branches. Smaller sites are often trained remotely. Symake has no UAE office.

Can a Dubai branch sell at a different price from one in Ajman?

Yes. One central price book holds base prices, and rules adjust them by emirate or branch. Each till receives only the prices that apply to it.

How do we judge whether a retail ERP suits a multi-emirate group?

Check that it handles several entities, VAT registrations and inter-company transfers in one database. Then test one month-end across two entities with your own data.

Is support available during UAE working hours?

Yes. Remote support works from India, and its working day overlaps most of the UAE working day. The Saturday-Sunday weekend aligns with the Indian week.
