Retail ERP Software in Sharjah and the northern emirates

Sharjah has many family-owned retail groups, often with stores in Al Nahda, Muwaileh and Al Majaz, a storeroom in Sharjah Industrial Area and more branches in Ajman or Umm Al Quwain. Over the years each company may have picked its own accounting package. The owners then wait for figures that never quite agree. Symake's retail ERP puts every company on the same chart of accounts with its own ledger, so group results come from one place. Suppliers, items and prices are shared where the family wants, and kept separate where the companies trade independently.

One month-end instead of several

When each company in a family group uses a different tool, month-end becomes a chase for files. Symake's back office posts sales, purchases and expenses from every branch into the ledger of the right company as they happen. Inter-company transfers appear on both sides automatically. By the first working days of the month, the group report is ready, and the owners discuss the business instead of the numbers.

  • Sales and purchases post as they happen
  • Inter-company entries created on both sides
  • Consolidated group view on demand
  • Audit trail for every manual journal

A retail back office for Sharjah

Sharjah retailers charge VAT at 5%, and every registered company in a family group files its own returns. Corporate tax at 9% applies at entity level too, so mixing books between companies creates work at year-end. E-invoicing through the Ministry of Finance goes live on 1 January 2027 for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more, working through an accredited provider. Smaller companies appoint by 31 March 2027 and start on 1 July 2027. Different companies in one group may fall on different dates, and Symake tracks that per entity.

VAT returns prepared per registered company
Entity books that support 9% corporate tax filing
E-invoicing dates tracked company by company
Records kept in the form your auditors expect

Frequently Asked Questions

Our family group has four trading companies. Do we need four systems?

No. All four sit in one system, each with its own ledger, VAT registration and bank accounts. Shared items and suppliers are maintained once, and owners can see each company or the whole group.

Can branches in Ajman and Umm Al Quwain be included?

Yes. Branches in any emirate are added as stores under the company that owns them. Stock, cash and sales stay with that store, and reports show them beside your Sharjah branches.

How are stock transfers between our companies recorded?

A transfer creates a sale in the sending company and a purchase in the receiving one, at the transfer price you set. Both sides post automatically, which keeps inter-company balances in agreement.

Do different companies in our group face different e-invoicing dates?

They can. A company with revenue of AED 50 million or more goes live on 1 January 2027, while smaller ones start on 1 July 2027. Symake records the date that applies to each entity.

Will Symake staff come to Sharjah?

Consultants travel from Bengaluru for workshops, training and the go-live of each company. Symake has no UAE office, so ongoing help is provided remotely on your working days.

Can owners see results without logging into accounting screens?

Yes. Owners get a simple dashboard with sales, margin, cash and payables per company and for the group. It opens in a browser or on a phone.

What happens to our old accounting data?

Opening balances move into the new system, and older detail stays in your previous tools for reference. If you need prior-year transactions imported, we agree that in the scope.

Is the retail ERP suitable if only one company needs it today?

Yes. You can start with one company and add the others later, without rebuilding the setup. Many family groups prefer that pace.
