Retail ERP and POS Software in Saudi Arabia from Riyadh to Al Khobar

Saudi retail groups often run head office from Riyadh, sell through branches in Jeddah and the Western Region, and reach the Eastern Province through Dammam and Al Khobar. Some also trade in Makkah and Madinah, where seasons drive demand, and new markets are forming around the NEOM region. Symake's retail system connects all of them. Each branch sells, returns and counts locally, while head office manages prices, suppliers and accounts for the whole Kingdom. Regional managers see only their branches, and every receipt follows the same ZATCA format wherever it prints.

What a Kingdom-wide store group needs

Counter and back office tools for branches in many regions

Regional structure

Regional structure

Group branches into Central, Western and Eastern regions, each with its own manager, targets and reports.

mada everywhere

mada everywhere

mada, Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay are set up once for the whole group, so every branch reconciles the same way.

Phase 2 receipts

Phase 2 receipts

Simplified invoices carry the QR code, cryptographic stamp and Arabic fields ZATCA requires, and report within 24 hours.

B2B invoicing

B2B invoicing

Sales to business customers are issued as tax invoices and cleared with ZATCA in real time before they reach the buyer.

Resilient tills

Resilient tills

Branches far from head office keep selling when links fail. Sales and invoices sync and report when the connection returns.

Central promotions

Central promotions

Launch a national offer for Ramadan or Saudi National Day, or run one only in the Eastern Province, from head office.

Kingdom-wide loyalty

Kingdom-wide loyalty

Members earn points in Dammam and spend them in Jeddah. Head office sees one customer record whichever branch they use.

Regional warehouses

Regional warehouses

Hold stock in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam warehouses, and move it to branches with transfers tracked from dispatch to receipt.

Group accounts

Group accounts

All branches post into consolidated riyal books, with VAT at 15% and branch tags for regional profit reporting.

A single back office for every Saudi region

When branches spread from the Red Sea to the Gulf, head office loses sight of them quickly. Symake keeps every region in the same records. Finance can check VAT at 15% per branch and region before filing. Operations can see which branches are behind on ZATCA reporting because of long outages. Merchandising compares Riyadh and Al Khobar sales on one report and moves stock between regional warehouses.

A rollout plan for Saudi store groups

How we take a multi-region group live in planned waves

Group workshop

Head office and regional managers meet our consultants in Riyadh or Jeddah to agree structure and rules.

ZATCA setup

Each branch is onboarded for phase 2 reporting, with receipts tested for QR code and required Arabic fields.

Central wave

Riyadh branches go live first, close to head office, so problems are fixed before the wider rollout.

Western wave

Jeddah branches follow, with Makkah staff trained in Jeddah or online and Madinah teams trained the same way.

Eastern wave

Dammam and Al Khobar branches go live with regional warehouse transfers already tested.

Steady support

Remote support from Bengaluru overlaps the Saudi working week, with group reviews after each VAT period.

Built for retail counters in Saudi Arabia

Every Saudi retailer works under ZATCA, with VAT at 15%. Phase 2 of FATOORA e-invoicing is being rolled out in waves. It requires UBL XML invoices with a cryptographic stamp and QR code, real-time clearance of B2B invoices and reporting of simplified B2C receipts within 24 hours. Wave 25 applies to businesses with VAT-subject revenue above SAR 187,500 in any year from 2022 to 2025, and its integration deadline is 1 February 2027. For a group, every branch and till must comply. Symake sets up each counter so receipts show the Arabic fields ZATCA requires.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can one system serve branches in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam?

Yes. All branches share one database. Each region can have its own manager, warehouse and promotions, while head office keeps one item list, one supplier list and one set of accounts.

How do you handle ZATCA phase 2 for many branches?

Each branch and till is set up for phase 2. Receipts carry the QR code, stamp and Arabic fields, B2C invoices are reported within 24 hours and B2B invoices are cleared in real time.

Which ZATCA wave applies to our group?

Wave 25 covers VAT-subject revenue above SAR 187,500 in any year from 2022 to 2025, with integration due by 1 February 2027. Earlier waves had their own dates, so we confirm your status with you.

How is training run for branches in Makkah?

Non-Muslims cannot enter Makkah, so Makkah teams train in Jeddah or online. Madinah teams can train in Jeddah, Riyadh or online. Other regions can have sessions in person.

Can we run promotions in one region only?

Yes. A promotion can apply to the whole Kingdom, one region or a list of branches. Dates, prices and eligible items are set at head office and pushed to the right tills.

Does every branch need a stable internet line?

A line is needed to sync and report, but tills keep selling without one. Long outages should be fixed quickly so B2C invoices still reach ZATCA within 24 hours.

Do you offer Arabic training or screens?

Our training and support are given in English. Receipts and invoices carry the Arabic fields ZATCA requires, and your supervisors can then brief cashiers in the language they prefer.

Can an online store sell from our branch stock?

Yes. An online store linked to the same stock can fill orders from the nearest regional warehouse or branch, and online sales appear in the same reports as counter sales.
