Retail ERP and Inventory Management in UAE across every emirate

Many UAE retail groups grow emirate by emirate. A chain might start in Dubai, add branches in Sharjah and Ajman, open a warehouse in Abu Dhabi to serve the capital and Al Ain, and then reach Ras Al Khaimah. Each step adds distance and more places where stock can go wrong. Symake keeps every warehouse and branch in one system, with separate companies where your licences need them. Stock can move between emirates with a dispatch and a receipt, and buyers see days of cover for each line at every site. Finance gets one stock value for the group and another for each company, both in UAE dirhams.

Stock and tax figures that agree

Across the UAE, stock value feeds both VAT and corporate tax work. Symake posts every receipt, transfer, write-off and count result to accounts as it happens, per company and per site. When your accountant prepares the year end, closing stock comes from the same records the warehouse uses, not a spreadsheet built at the last minute.

  • Movements posted to accounts as they happen
  • Closing stock per company and site
  • No last-minute spreadsheet for year end
  • Audit trail behind each stock figure

Stock control for retailers in the UAE

UAE retailers charge VAT at 5% and pay corporate tax at 9% on taxable profit, and both depend on stock records you can stand behind. E-invoicing is next. Under the Ministry of Finance plan, groups with revenue of AED 50 million or more must issue e-invoices through an accredited service provider from 1 January 2027. Smaller groups have until 31 March 2027 to appoint a provider, with their own go-live set for 1 July 2027. Symake keeps supplier and sales invoice data structured for that change, and three-way matching of orders, receipts and bills helps your team handle the volume.

VAT at 5% handled on every stock purchase
Corporate tax at 9% backed by stock records
E-invoicing go-live dates in 2027 planned for

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we run warehouses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in one system?

Yes. Each warehouse is a location that supplies its nearest branches. Stock can also move between them, and the group sees combined figures.

Do we need a separate company for each emirate?

Only where your licences require it. Symake supports several companies under one group, each with its own stock and books, and a combined view for owners.

What do the UAE e-invoicing dates mean for our group?

With revenue of AED 50 million or more, you go live on 1 January 2027, and others go live on 1 July 2027. Symake keeps invoice data structured for your accredited service provider.

How does stock value support corporate tax?

Closing stock comes from posted movements and approved counts, valued at average or FIFO cost. That gives a figure your accountant can trace for the 9% corporate tax return.

Can a branch in Ras Al Khaimah request stock from Dubai?

Yes. The branch raises a request, the Dubai warehouse approves and dispatches it, and the branch scans it in. Stock in transit stays visible throughout.

Will consultants visit branches in each emirate?

Consultants fly in for workshops, training and go-live and can visit the emirates where branches go live. Ongoing support is remote from Bengaluru.

Does an online store share stock with UAE branches?

Yes. The online store reads the same stock, and each order reduces the warehouse or branch that fulfills it, so customers see accurate availability.

How do we stop count differences going straight to the books?

Count results wait for a supervisor's approval. Only approved differences post to accounts, each with a reason and the user who approved it.
