Set up for property rules in Dubai
Dubai property sits under the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and its regulator RERA. Off-plan sales are registered on Oqood, tenancy contracts on Ejari, and property adverts need a Trakheesi permit. Off-plan payments must go into project escrow accounts under Dubai Law No. 8 of 2007. RealMake keeps the fields each of these needs close to the unit record and keeps escrow receipts separate by project. VAT is 5% and corporate tax is 9%. E-invoicing begins on 1 January 2027 for revenue of AED 50 million or more, and on 1 July 2027 for others.
