Set up for property rules in Al Rayyan
Brokers in Al Rayyan, as everywhere in Qatar, are regulated by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat). Non-Qatari buyers may own only in designated areas, a list of ten updated in June 2026, so RealMake checks eligibility before a villa is reserved. There is no VAT in Qatar yet. The platform can turn VAT on when Qatar introduces it, and keeps invoices structured because an e-invoicing law has been approved without dates. All amounts run in Qatari riyals, and the working week follows the Friday-Saturday weekend.
