Our production management software for manufacturers in Saudi Arabia

Saudi manufacturing groups often have a plant in Riyadh, another in Jeddah and a third in Dammam or Al Khobar, each serving its own region. Symake's planning tool gathers demand from all regions into one plan, then decides which plant builds what, based on capacity, stock and the distance to each buyer. A shortage in the Eastern Province can be covered by a transfer from Jeddah, planned with its road time. Plants at Madinah or near the NEOM region can join the same plan as they grow. Each plant keeps its own warehouses, work centres and planners, while the group sees one schedule and one set of promised dates.

Kingdom-wide planning for manufacturing groups

Regional plants, one master schedule, one data set

Regional demand

Regional demand

Orders and forecasts from each region feed one plan, with the source region kept for reporting.

Plant assignment

Plant assignment

The plan proposes which plant makes each order, using free hours, stock on hand and distance.

Regional material

Regional material

Material needs are calculated per plant, so each purchasing team sees its own suggestions.

Road transfers

Road transfers

Transfers between Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam are planned with their road transit time and cost.

Group capacity

Group capacity

Work centre load is shown per plant and for the whole group, so spare hours are easy to find.

Shared engineering

Shared engineering

One set of items, bills of materials and routings serves every plant, with local variants allowed.

Promise by region

Promise by region

Sales in each region confirms dates against the plant that will really make the order, not a guess.

Lot traceability

Lot traceability

Lots stay traceable across plants and transfers, from the supplier receipt to the final customer.

Management view

Management view

Group dashboards show output, late orders and stock cover by region and by plant for the owners.

Balancing work between Saudi regions

Riyadh is overloaded this month while Jeddah has spare hours. The group plan shows both. The planner moves part of the Riyadh demand to Jeddah, and the tool creates the work orders there, plans the transfer back by road and updates the promise dates for Riyadh buyers. Material suggestions shift to the Jeddah buyers at the same time.

  • Overload and spare hours shown together
  • Work moved between plants in one step
  • Road transfer planned with its timing
  • Purchase suggestions follow the work

Rolling out across Saudi regions

One plant at a time, then the whole group

Group mapping

We document each plant, its products, capacity and the regions it serves today.

Common data

Items, bills of materials and routings are aligned across plants into one master set.

Lead plant

The first plant goes live with consultants on site in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam.

More plants

Other regions follow in turn, with on-site help where needed and online sessions elsewhere.

Training

Planners, buyers and supervisors in each region learn their screens in English.

Group switch

Group planning goes live, with remote support hours that overlap the Saudi working week.

Production planning for Saudi Arabia plants

Across Saudi Arabia, VAT is 15% and ZATCA runs both tax and e-invoicing. FATOORA phase 2 is integrating businesses in waves. Wave 25 covers those with VAT-subject revenue above SAR 187,500 in any year from 2022 to 2025, and its integration deadline is 1 February 2027. Phase 2 needs UBL XML invoices with a cryptographic stamp and QR code, real-time clearance for B2B invoices and reporting of simplified invoices within 24 hours. Invoices issued from any plant carry the Arabic fields ZATCA requires. MODON runs industrial cities in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah and other regions, and each plant can sit in a different one.

What a Saudi group gains from one schedule

Regional plans compete for the same suppliers and hide each other's spare capacity. A Kingdom-wide schedule lets the group move work, share stock and give every region dates that hold.

✓ Demand from all regions in one plan
✓ Spare hours found across plants

Frequently Asked Questions

Can plants in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam share one master schedule?

Yes. Each plant is set up with its own work centres, warehouses and planners, and the group schedule covers all of them. Demand from every region is planned together, and the plan proposes which plant builds each order.

How are transfers between Saudi regions planned?

A transfer is planned like a purchase from another plant, with a road transit time and cost. The receiving plant counts it as dated supply, so its work orders start when the goods are due to arrive.

Can each region keep its own purchasing team?

Yes. Material requirements are calculated per plant, and suggestions go to that plant's buyers. Group buyers can still see the total demand per supplier to negotiate better terms.

Do all plants need to go live at once?

No. Groups usually start with one plant, often the largest, and add the others region by region. Until a plant joins, its demand can be planned centrally and sent to it.

Will every plant's invoices meet FATOORA phase 2?

Invoices from every plant use UBL XML with a cryptographic stamp and QR code, B2B invoices are cleared in real time, and simplified invoices are reported within 24 hours. All of them include the Arabic fields ZATCA requires.

Where are on-site workshops held for Saudi groups?

Consultants fly from Bengaluru to the plants that need on-site work, usually in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam. Other sessions run online, and support hours overlap the Saudi working week across all regions.

Can a plant near the NEOM region join later?

Yes. A new plant is added as a site with its own work centres and warehouses. Once its routings are in place, the group plan can start assigning orders to it, and its transfers are planned like any other.

Does the group view show which region is late on orders?

Yes. Dashboards list late and at-risk orders by region and plant, along with output against plan and stock cover. Management can see where the group is behind and which plant has room to help.
