Which tools to keep and which to retire

Not every Bengaluru app needs to go. If a payment gateway or an HR portal works well, Odoo can pull its data through a connector. Frequently Asked Questions

We already use a separate payroll app in Bengaluru. Must it go?

Not always. If the app works and your team trusts it, we can bring its salary journal into Odoo through a connector. If Odoo Payroll covers your rules, moving it in saves one more reconciliation each month.

How much time will our department heads spend on the rollout?

Roughly an hour or two a week each during design, a half-day for testing their own screens, and a short daily check in the first weeks after go-live. Symake does the setup, imports and testing.

Can Odoo connect to the payment gateway we use?

Odoo has connectors for several gateways, and our developers can build one where it does not. Payments then land against the right invoice, and bank matching becomes a review rather than a hunt.

Can your consultants meet us at our Whitefield office?

Yes. Our team is in Mahadevapura, close to Whitefield, so design workshops and go-live support can happen at your office. Training sessions can be at your office or online.

What does the finance head sign off before go-live?

The chart of accounts, tax settings, the opening trial balance as on the cut-off date and a set of test invoices and bills. Nothing goes live until these are signed.

What if a department wants changes after the design is signed?

We log each request, estimate it and agree it with you as a separate item. That keeps the original scope fixed and the go-live date safe, while still giving teams a route for new needs.

Is Odoo Online fine for a Bengaluru company with connectors?

Standard connectors work on Odoo Online. Custom code does not, so if your design needs a connector we write ourselves, we recommend Odoo.sh or your own server and explain the cost difference.

What should be better three months after go-live?

Month-end should close sooner, the stock figure should agree with physical counts, and your accounts team should spend far less time matching data between tools. We review these with you at day 90.
