How many years of Tally data should we move to Odoo?

Most Kochi groups move masters, open balances and the current year's vouchers, and keep older years readable in Tally or as reports. Moving every year adds cost and clutter. The plan explains the choice for your audit needs.

Can our promoter in Dubai approve payments in Odoo?

Yes. Odoo's approval flows work in the browser and the mobile app, so a promoter abroad can approve payments, purchases and discounts. The plan defines limits, so only amounts above a set value need their approval.

Our two companies are in Kakkanad and Thrissur. Should they share one database?

Often yes, if they share parties, items or staff. One database needs the Custom plan and careful access rules. If the companies run independently, separate databases may be simpler. We compare both in the plan.

What happens to duplicate party names in our Tally ledgers?

The data inventory lists them with a suggested master name. Your accountant confirms the merges, and the migration plan maps old ledger names to new Odoo contacts so balances move correctly.

Can the planning workshops be held in Malayalam?

Yes. Workshops for accounts and operations staff in Kochi can run in Malayalam, and the written plan is in English. Staff are welcome to ask questions in the language they are most comfortable with.
