Manufacturing ERP Software in UAE, emirate by emirate

UAE manufacturing is spread across the emirates. Abu Dhabi has KEZAD and ICAD, Dubai has Dubai Industrial City and JAFZA, and Sharjah has Hamriyah, SAIF Zone and its industrial areas, with more plants in Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah. A group often holds a separate licence, and sometimes a separate company, in each zone. Symake's ERP keeps those companies apart in the books while letting them share items, suppliers and planning. Consultants fly in from Bengaluru for workshops and go-live in whichever emirate you need, and remote support hours overlap the Monday-to-Friday week.

How the ERP fits a UAE-wide group

Shared where it helps, separate where the law needs it

Entity setup

Entity setup

Each free-zone or mainland company has its own licence details, ledger, VAT settings and warehouses.

Shared catalogue

Shared catalogue

Items, BOMs and suppliers are defined once and used by every company that needs them, avoiding duplicate codes.

Inter-company trade

Inter-company trade

Sales and transfers between group companies post on both sides and drop out of consolidated results.

Group planning

Group planning

Material planning sees demand and stock across emirates, so one plant can supply another before buying new.

Plant execution

Plant execution

Work orders, routings and work centres are set per plant, with operators recording progress on tablets.

Cost by plant

Cost by plant

Product cost is calculated per plant, so the same item made in Mussafah and in Sharjah can be compared.

Group traceability

Group traceability

Lots and serial numbers follow goods between companies and emirates, all the way to the customer invoice.

Tax and invoicing

Tax and invoicing

VAT at 5% per line and structured invoice data for the accredited service provider each company appoints.

Group view

Group view

Dashboards show orders, output, margins and cash per company and for the group as a whole.

Each group company on its own e-invoice date

The Ministry of Finance is moving businesses to e-invoicing through accredited service providers. Companies with revenue of AED 50 million or more go live on 1 January 2027, and others go live on 1 July 2027. Check with your tax adviser which date applies to each group company. Symake's ERP produces structured invoice data per company and keeps a separate go-live setting for each, so one entity can switch first and others follow later.

  • Structured invoice data per company
  • 1 January 2027 for larger businesses
  • 1 July 2027 for all other businesses
  • VAT at 5% held on every invoice line

Bringing plants in each emirate live

A sequence that respects each company's deadlines

Group map

We list every company, licence, plant and warehouse across the emirates, with each one's e-invoicing date.

Shared design

The group chart, item coding, BOM standards and approval rules are agreed once for all companies.

First wave

Companies with the earliest e-invoicing date go live first, with consultants in that emirate.

Second wave

Remaining companies follow in time for their own go-live date, reusing the first wave's setup.

Training

Short English sessions per role at each plant, so operators and accountants learn their own screens.

Support

Remote support from Bengaluru in hours that overlap the UAE working week, for every company.

Built for manufacturers in UAE

Across the UAE, VAT is 5% and corporate tax is 9%, both handled per legal entity. E-invoicing runs through the Ministry of Finance with accredited service providers, going live on 1 January 2027 for revenue of AED 50 million or more and on 1 July 2027 for others. Each emirate also has its own zones: KEZAD and ICAD in Abu Dhabi, JAFZA and Dubai Industrial City in Dubai, Hamriyah and SAIF Zone in Sharjah. Suppliers to large buyers often need National In-Country Value (ICV) certification. Symake's ERP keeps licence details, tax settings and ICV-relevant cost records per company.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our group has companies in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Can one ERP handle them?

Yes. Each company keeps its own ledger, VAT settings and licence details, while items, BOMs and suppliers can be shared. Inter-company sales are recorded on both sides and removed from group totals.

Which e-invoicing go-live date applies to us?

Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more go live on 1 January 2027, and others on 1 July 2027. Confirm the date for each company with your tax adviser; the ERP can prepare each one on its own timeline.

Does Symake have a UAE office?

No. We deliver from Bengaluru, consultants fly in for workshops, training and go-live, and support is remote in hours that overlap the UAE working week.

Can the ERP help with National ICV certification?

It keeps the records ICV work draws on, such as supplier origin, local purchases and costs per company. The certification itself is issued by an approved body, and your finance team uses the ERP figures to prepare for it.

How should a UAE manufacturer shortlist ERP vendors?

Check multi-entity books, VAT and e-invoicing output, BOM and routing depth, costing method and traceability. Then ask who will run the project and who supports you afterwards, and see one of your own orders run in a demo.

Can plants in different emirates transfer stock to each other?

Yes. Transfers between warehouses of the same company are tracked in transit, and transfers between companies create matching sale and purchase entries so both sets of books stay correct.

Do you support both discrete and batch manufacturing?

Yes. Discrete products use BOMs, routings and serial numbers, while batch production uses BOMs with lot tracking and recorded scrap. Both styles can run in the same group.

What happens after go-live?

The same consultants who designed the system stay involved for the first period, then remote support takes over. Changes such as new companies, products or reports are handled as small projects.
