Manufacturing and Production Management Software in UAE groups

Manufacturing groups in the UAE rarely stay in one emirate. A head office in Dubai may oversee a plant in KEZAD or ICAD in Abu Dhabi, a workshop in Hamriyah or SAIF Zone in Sharjah, and smaller units in Ajman or Ras Al Khaimah. Each site was often set up at a different time with its own paperwork. Symake brings them onto one structure for work orders, work centres, stop codes and inspections, while each licensed company keeps its own books. Group directors then compare floors across emirates using the same measures. Consultants from Bengaluru visit each emirate for go-live, and day-to-day help stays remote.

Floor tools for multi-emirate groups

Nine features that work the same in every emirate

Group routings

Group routings

Routings and bills of materials are maintained once, with site versions where machines differ between emirates.

Emirate sites

Emirate sites

Each plant is set up as a site or company with its own work centres, warehouses and shift calendar.

Tablet confirmations

Tablet confirmations

Operators in every plant confirm operations, scrap and stops on the same screens, in English.

Downtime coding

Downtime coding

A single list of stop reasons lets the group add up lost time from Abu Dhabi to Ras Al Khaimah.

Step inspections

Step inspections

Checkpoints are placed in routings, and failed results hold the lot wherever it is being made.

Machine care

Machine care

Maintenance plans run per machine at each site, and overdue work is visible to managers at group level.

Traceable lots

Traceable lots

Lots and serials link finished goods to their components across sites, including transfers between plants.

Interplant moves

Interplant moves

Components and semi-finished goods moved between emirates are recorded with quantity, lot and cost.

Director dashboards

Director dashboards

Output, scrap, late orders and stop minutes for every plant, rolled up for the group and its directors.

Invoices that come straight from the floor

Invoices that come straight from the floor

UAE e-invoicing will make clean invoice data a legal matter rather than a finance preference. When a work order closes, finished goods are in the warehouse with their lot or serial, and the delivery and invoice draw on that same record. The invoice carries VAT at 5%, the correct company and the structured fields an accredited provider needs. Fewer manual steps between the floor and billing means fewer corrections later.

  • Finished lots flow into delivery notes
  • Invoices raised by the right company
  • VAT at 5% on every invoice line
  • Structured data for the accredited provider

Bringing every emirate onto one system

Six stages for a group with plants in several emirates

Group workshop

Directors agree companies, sites, stop codes and group measures in a workshop in the UAE.

Pilot plant

One plant goes live first, chosen for its size and its willingness to test new ways of working.

Template set

Routings, inspection plans and dashboards from the pilot become the template for the group.

Site waves

Other plants in other emirates follow in planned waves, each with consultants on site for go-live.

E-invoicing link

Invoicing is connected to your accredited provider ahead of the go-live date that applies to you.

Group support

Remote support overlaps the UAE working week, with visits planned for new plants and phases.

Shop-floor control in UAE

Every plant in the UAE charges VAT at 5%, and corporate tax at 9% applies to taxable profits, so accurate cost per work order supports both. The Ministry of Finance e-invoicing programme starts on 1 January 2027 for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more and on 1 July 2027 for all others, and groups may find their companies on different dates. Plants in free zones such as JAFZA, SAIF Zone and Hamriyah keep separate licences. Large buyers often look at National In-Country Value (ICV) certification, which draws on local spend and labour records.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our plants are in Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Can they share one system?

Yes. Each plant can be a site or a separate company with its own work centres and books, while routings, stop codes and dashboards are shared across the group.

Our companies have different revenue levels. Which e-invoicing date applies?

Each company is assessed on its own revenue. Companies with AED 50 million or more go live on 1 January 2027, and others on 1 July 2027, so a group may connect companies in two stages.

Does the system help when buyers ask about ICV certification in the UAE?

It keeps records of local purchases, labour hours and materials used per work order. Those records give finance cleaner data for ICV preparation, although the certificate itself comes from an approved certifying body.

Can a free-zone plant and a mainland plant use the same routings?

Yes. Product data can be shared while each plant stays under its own licence and company, with transfers between them recorded.

How long does a group rollout across emirates take?

It depends on the number of plants and products. Most groups start with a pilot plant, then add sites in waves, so each go-live is small enough to support closely.

Do operators in every plant get the same training?

Yes. Training is in English and uses the same tablet screens everywhere, which makes it easier for supervisors to move between plants.

Can directors compare downtime between emirates?

Yes. Because every plant uses one list of stop reasons, lost minutes are comparable, and directors can drill down to the work centre and the shift.

Which days does support cover for UAE plants?

Help is available during hours that overlap the Monday to Friday week in the emirates. Weekend and holiday go-lives can be planned in advance with the consultants.
