Kingdom-wide ERP, POS and Retail Inventory Solutions in Saudi Arabia

Retail groups in Saudi Arabia increasingly trade in several regions at once: a head office in Riyadh, a busy western network around Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah, and stores in Dammam and Al Khobar. Each region has its own pace and its own seasons. Symake plans the rollout as a series of regional waves, with the central and western warehouses going live first. Western branches avoid go-live during Ramadan and Hajj, and teams from Makkah train in Jeddah or online. New areas such as the NEOM region can be added later, when your group expands there and opens its first branches.

Regional waves with one compliance setup

Symake's retail rollout sets up ZATCA compliance once at the national level, then reuses it for every regional wave. The central warehouse and a few Riyadh branches act as the pilot. The western region follows outside the peak seasons, then the Eastern Province. Each wave inherits the tested settings, so new branches are compliant from their first receipt.

  • Compliance built once and reused
  • Riyadh pilot proves the national setup
  • Western wave timed outside peak seasons
  • Eastern Province follows the same playbook

One retail stack for Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia charges VAT at 15%, administered by ZATCA, and every region follows the same FATOORA rules. Phase 2 integration is rolled out in waves. Businesses whose VAT-subject revenue passed SAR 187,500 in any year from 2022 to 2025 fall into wave 25 and must integrate by 1 February 2027. Phase 2 requires UBL XML invoices, a cryptographic stamp, a QR code, real-time clearance of B2B invoices and reporting of simplified B2C invoices within 24 hours, so every till receipt in every region must comply. Invoices and receipts carry the Arabic fields ZATCA requires, and each company in the group is onboarded separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Saudi region should go live first?

Most groups start with the central warehouse and a few Riyadh branches, because that is where the head office sits. The western and eastern regions then follow in their own waves.

How do you handle branches in Makkah during the rollout?

Makkah branches go live outside Ramadan and Hajj. Their teams train in Jeddah or online, and our consultants do not plan on-site work in the city.

Is each company in our group onboarded to ZATCA separately?

Yes. Each legal company has its own VAT registration and its own FATOORA onboarding. Symake sets this up for every company while keeping shared items and reports.

Can goods move between our Riyadh and Jeddah warehouses?

Yes. Transfers between regions are tracked in transit and received by barcode, so stock value stays correct in both warehouses and in the group accounts.

Does the web shop serve customers across the Kingdom?

Yes. Online orders use national stock and can ship from the nearest warehouse or be collected at a branch in the customer's city.

What if our group also trades outside Saudi Arabia?

The system supports multiple companies and currencies. Saudi companies follow ZATCA rules, and companies in other GCC countries are set up for their own tax rules.

Are consultants available on site in each region?

Consultants fly in from Bengaluru for workshops, training and go-live in each wave. Symake has no office in the GCC, and daily support is delivered remotely.

Will every receipt meet phase 2 rules?

Yes. Every till receipt is a simplified invoice with a QR code and stamp, reported to ZATCA within 24 hours, and it carries the Arabic fields ZATCA requires.
