A phased plan for ERP, POS and Retail Inventory Solutions in Riyadh

Many retail groups run chains across the Kingdom from a Riyadh head office, so the system has to start there and travel well. Symake begins with a discovery phase that covers your buying team, your finance desk and a sample of branches in districts such as Al Olaya, Al Malqa and Al Narjis. A warehouse in the Second Industrial City usually becomes the first site we configure, because every branch draws stock from it. Branches then go live in planned groups, so your team is never learning on every counter at once. Consultants fly in from Bengaluru for workshops, training and each go-live weekend, and remote support follows the Saudi working week.

One plan from head office to the last branch

Symake's retail rollout treats a chain as a set of waves rather than a single big switch. The head office, central warehouse and two or three pilot branches go first. Lessons from the pilot shape the playbook for the next group, so later branches open faster and with fewer questions. Finance sees every branch in one set of books from the first day it goes live.

  • Pilot branches prove the setup before wider launch
  • A repeatable playbook for every later wave
  • Finance closes all branches in one set of books
  • Clear owner sign-off at the end of each wave

One retail stack for Riyadh

Retailers in Riyadh pay VAT at 15% to ZATCA, and FATOORA e-invoicing phase 2 is being rolled out in waves. If your VAT-subject revenue topped SAR 187,500 in any year between 2022 and 2025, you sit in wave 25, which must integrate by 1 February 2027. Phase 2 needs UBL XML invoices, a cryptographic stamp and a QR code. B2B invoices are cleared in real time, and simplified B2C invoices, which include till receipts, must be reported within 24 hours. Symake sets this up during the build phase, so invoices and receipts carry the Arabic fields ZATCA requires from the first sale.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a rollout take for a Riyadh chain?

It depends on the number of branches and how clean your data is. A typical plan has a few weeks of discovery and build, a pilot with two or three branches, and then waves of branches until every store in the group is live.

Do your consultants come to our Riyadh head office?

Yes. Our Bengaluru consultants travel to Riyadh for the discovery sessions, staff training and each go-live. Between visits, the team works remotely, and India's working day overlaps most of the Saudi working day.

Can branches outside Riyadh join the same rollout?

Yes. Branches in other Saudi cities can join a later wave. They use the same item master, price lists and reports, and their stock is visible to the head office as soon as they go live.

What happens to our existing sales history?

We agree with you how much history to bring across. Usually item masters, opening stock, open supplier balances and loyalty points are migrated, while older sales stay available as reports from the old system.

Will the tills work during an internet outage?

Yes. Counters keep selling offline and store the sales locally. When the connection returns, the sales post to stock and accounts and the receipts are reported as ZATCA requires.

Can we run our web shop on the same stock?

Yes. The online store reads stock from the same system as your branches. Orders reserve stock immediately, and you can choose which warehouse or branch fulfils each order.

Is the system screen available in Arabic?

Symake delivers screens, training and support in English. Invoices and receipts carry the Arabic fields ZATCA requires, so the documents your customers receive meet Saudi rules.

Does Symake have an office in Riyadh?

No. Symake works from its Bengaluru headquarters and keeps no GCC office. Our consultants travel to Riyadh for key stages, and daily support is provided remotely.
