As early as possible. Master data, device orders and staff training all take time. We usually like to start well before opening, so the final weeks are for testing and rehearsal rather than setup.

We already trade in Doha. Can the Lusail branch join our current setup?

Yes, if your current setup is on the Symake system. The new branch joins the existing catalogue, loyalty and reports. If you use another system today, we can plan a group move with Lusail as the first branch.

Is Lusail treated any differently for tax?

No. The city sits under the same national rules as the rest of Qatar. There is no VAT in force yet, so tax codes are prepared but inactive. An e-invoicing law is approved but has no dates, and the setup stores customer and supplier fields for when dates are set.

Can the online store go live on the same day as the branch?

Yes, and we recommend it. The online store shares the branch's stock, so customers can order for pickup or delivery from opening day, and launch offers apply in both channels.

How do we print shelf labels before opening?

Labels are printed from the system once items and prices are approved. Each label carries the barcode and price the till will use, so there are no mismatches at checkout on opening day.

Who will be at the branch on opening day?

A Symake consultant flies in from Bengaluru for key launches, or joins on a live call if you prefer. Either way, someone who knows your setup is available through the first trading hours.

Our new team has never used a till. Is training enough?

Yes. We train on your own items, run a mock trading day, and give simple written guides. New cashiers practice sales, returns and cash counts until they are comfortable.

Can we run launch offers in Lusail without affecting other branches?

Yes. Promotions can be limited to one branch and a set period. The launch offer runs only in Lusail, and its results appear in a separate report so you can judge the opening.
